A lot of fuss was made before this series about there being a “love pod” in the garden. Nobody seems to have been in it yet though! I haven’t even seen anyone try to enter it either. Is it locked? Has anyone tried to get into it? Why hasn’t it even been mentioned? Anyone know anything about it?!

Well after my post last week about not using the prison cell for Alex, the show producers have been banging housemates up left right and centre.

First up, no sooner had I posted about the jail not being used (wonder if anyone from BB reads this blog?!), Bex got sent there for opening an envelope - bit crap that one!

Second, Rex and Mohammed were incarcerated for talking about nominations.

Finally, Dennis and Darnell were locked up, also for talking about nominations. The timing of this smacked as a crude attempt by BB to sabotage the task, but they pasted anyway.

So the prison has been more overcrowded than Wormwood Scrubs on a good day and looks set to be used a lot more if the housemates keep being naughty.

My improvements on the prison for next year would be:

• Make it a proper cell so that other housemates can’t bring them
  food/clothes etc
• Make the inmates wear prison clothes
• Make the inmates eat prison food provided by BB

Chris Moyles announced on his show this morning that him and his team were going to spend some time in the Big Brother House today along with Davina today during which time they would be locked in and perform a task.

He also complained that they weren’t allowed to film proceedings even though they promised not to put the footage on the Radio 1 site until after Thursday’s launch show.

Make sure you tune into his show tomorrow morning to hear what happened and for any little juicy tit-bits they reveal…

BIG Brother chiefs have installed a pod in the garden for frisky housemates to get cosy in throughout the summer.

They have decided to give wannabes who couple-up somewhere private to canoodle.

The shell-like hideyhole – which will have a camera inside to spy on the contestants’ saucy fun – looks like something from the future.

Nice to see the program makers are using their imagination to boost viewing figures and not just resorting the the “sex sells” approach…! Anyway, now the first pictures of the house have been released, I’m having difficulty finding said shell-like futuristic love-pod:

Chris Moyles and his breakfast team spent a night in the new Big Brother House on Sunday night. They couldn’t take a camera in, but you can listen again to the show to hear what they thought.
